![]() There were 6 of us, and we had reservations for 6:45 but they were not able to get us in until about 7:15. Definitely enjoyed the experience and would love to come back again next time I'm in Vegas!Ĭame here on Friday night with a group of friends. I'm glad we had the waiter curate our dinner menu for us, as everything was so good and he probably knows what is best for us. Not too much to say.Ĭeviche was also served, but I was too full to eat, and there was another roll that I couldn't find on the menu that everyone enjoyed. Salmon (sake) roll and Tuna (akami) roll: Both were very good. Some people weren't a fan of this, but I really enjoyed it! It had a nice crunch and I loved the lobster meat in it as it was subtly sweet too. avocado, aji honey truffle, and topped with a lotus root chip. Samba Strip: A different style of sushi, but it's soy paper with maine lobster, mango. Whole squid: Sprinkled with lemon aioli, this whole squid was chewy and flavorful. Peruvian corn: thick corn and not as sweet as American corn, but it was interesting! Other people in my party enjoyed this. ![]() Duck breast: Didn't wow me cause I found it a little dry but it was still good. I didn't know the waiter got us pork belly, otherwise I thought I'd be tired of it since I was eating it all week, but surprisingly I wanted more because it was so good! Berkshire pork belly: Tender and melts in your mouth like butter. I still can't stop thinking about this skewer! Highly recommend this dish. When you bit into it, you realize it's fish. We didn't know what we ordered, but when we saw it, it looked like a chicken skewer. I would describe the experience as mind-blowing. Seabass (skewer): This was everyone's favorite dish. This was good but Japanese A5 wagyu had a subtle taste. Japanese A5 Wagyu Beef Gyoza: Not sure if we had this, but it sounds like we did since there are no other dumplings on the 'Shared' menu. Salt & Pepper Squid: decent size, bigger than your usual calamari. Crispy shell, topped with a generous amount of yellowtail and avocado, and a small kick of spicyness. Crispy taquito's w/ yellowtail: everyone's favorite appetizer and second favorite overall. I don't know what was served but these were my guesses from what I remember. ![]() Service was great and the restaurant is large with lots of seating and a street-style but calming ambiance. We had no dietary restrictions and eat about everything. We gave our waiter a budget and he met our expectations, providing us with some delicious food on the menu. ![]() This is their only restaurant in the US, so makes me want to come back more the next time I'm in Vegas! We came in with a party of 8 not knowing what to expect. Sushisamba is a unique Japanese fusion restaurant, with Brazil and Peru. ![]()
